2B-BLUE to expand proven Blue Biotechnology solutions across the Mediterranean
On July 1st, 2B-BLUE is entering a new Transfer phase to help more Mediterranean regions adopt innovative blue biotechnology solutions. Building on successful pilot activities, the project will share proven approaches in sustainable aquaculture, marine bioremediation, digital innovation and the use of marine by-products. Through training, knowledge exchange and collaboration between research organizations, businesses and public authorities, new partners in Italy, Montenegro and Spain will adapt these solutions to their local needs. The initiative will strengthen regional cooperation, support innovation and accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable and resilient Mediterranean blue economy.
