PP6: PMM-TVT

Description of the organization

Approved by the French government as a world-class competitiveness cluster in July 2005, Pôle Mer Méditerranée unites nearly 500 scientific and economic stakeholders in the maritime sector from the southern Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Occitanie, and Corsica regions around a shared focus: maritime innovation.
Pôle Mer Méditerranée serves as a catalyst for collaborative innovation and a facilitator for the development of projects related to the maritime and coastal economy. By identifying the most ambitious, viable, and value-enhancing projects for blue growth, PMM-TVT promote cooperation between SMEs, major corporations, research and training institutions, and economic development organizations.
These projects are driven by the technological challenges to be addressed and the high-potential markets identified in our strategic areas of focus.

Competences and involvement in 2B-BLUE

• PMM-TVT will co coordinate witth CNR-IRBIM WP2 – Development and implementation of testing activities in the blue biotechnology hubs and facilitate the links between all WPs.
• As an operational partner, PMM-TVT brings a robust network of blue growth stakeholders, particularly in the fields of fisheries, aquaculture, and blue biotechnologies.
• This network will facilitate the creation of opportunities to connect with European biotechnology actors and the formation of interest groups to find solutions and structure the industry.
• PMM-TVT will work in tandem with Ifremer on the implementation of French demonstration activities, utilizing its expertise in methodology design and its ability to involve its network.

Team members

Colin Ruel
Colin Ruel is the director of the European projects department in Pôle Mer Méditerranée. He manages the submission and execution of European projects. He is graduated with a master’s degree in management. Colin has worked on several French, European, and international projects as content provider, data manager and administrative and financial coordinator. Since 2014, he manages European projects in which PMM-TVT is involved and accompanies cluster’s members, especially SMEs, toward European support mechanisms.

Julitette Armeni – Ripari
Juliette holds a master’s degree in Ocean science, conservation and innovation from Nice Côte d’Azur University. Since 2021, she is responsible in PMM of the biological marine resources’ domain.

Magali Gebelin
She is the European administrative & financial Project manager of Pôle Mer Méditerranée since 2019. She graduated with a Master degree in European Union Law and validated a Bachelor degree in Public law. Magali worked as a financial auditor for European projects for 2 years with the Deloitte company.
