2B-BLUE takes part in BIOBASED workshop
CNR-IRBIM represented 2B-BLUE in the Second BIOBASED Italy-Croatia Interreg project Networking Event in Foggia (Italy), where innovation in blue biotechnology made headlines. Research teams, industry leaders and institutions came together to discuss how marine resources, including algae, can be transformed into high-value compounds for feed, food, cosmetics and more.
The event attracted a range of stakeholders from across the blue biotech sector, showing strong interest in sustainable biorefinery and new solutions for the Mediterranean Sea. Collaboration and knowledge sharing were central, highlighting the relevance of these themes for the 2B-Blue project and the region’s blue bioeconomy. #BlueBiotech #BIOBASED #2BBlue.
