Koper, October 5, 2024 – The 2B-BLUE project participated in the event to raise awareness about the Blue Economy and the new European Union Restoration Law.
ŠtartUP was a sports & social event organised by the University of Primorska to kick off the new academic year. At the event, both freshmen and older students networked with each other and .ore than 55 local organisations, associations, institutions and companies that took part in the event. The goal was to engage students in their services and future work opportunities. The National Insitute of Biology (NIB) gathered information from students to complete two surveys: one about their interest in the protection of nature, and the second, on their knowledge about cosmetic products that incorporate marine biocompounds. More than 180 different students collaborated to the studies and also engaged with NIB in discussions on nature, sea and blue biotechnologies..
